Why we built this
Ontario's rebate programs are generous but complex. The official program information is accurate but scattered across multiple pages with technical language. For most homeowners planning a $10,000–$25,000 home energy upgrade, the first question is simple: “Am I eligible, and how much do I get?”
The calculator gives you that answer in 30 seconds. The guides explain the details in plain English. The Action Pack provides the operational tools for people who want structured help avoiding common mistakes.
We charge for the Action Pack ($29) because it takes significant time to research and keep updated. Everything else — the calculator, the guides, the FAQ — is free and always will be.
Rebate scams — important
The official program operators have warned homeowners about scammers:
- •Fake websites impersonating the Home Renovation Savings Program
- •Unsolicited phone calls or door-to-door visits about rebates
- •“Contractors” claiming to represent Save on Energy or Enbridge
- •Unauthorized rebate offers asking for personal information upfront
Official program operators do not solicit homeowners by phone or door-to-door. If you receive such contact, report it to saveonenergy@ieso.ca.

Data & privacy
When you use the calculator, we collect only the minimum required for the calculation to work. If you choose to receive your rebate summary by email, we collect your email address.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to deliver what you requested (for example, using a payment processor for Action Pack purchases). See our privacy policy for details.
