Toronto pays 80% of eligible flood-protection plumbing up to $6,650 per home, and 11 other Ontario municipalities run programs of their own — most for a backwater valve, several for a sump pump or weeping-tile disconnection. None of them pay for waterproofing membranes or crack injection; the service guides above say which repairs qualify.
