About this tool

ClaimRebate.ca provides a free rebate estimation tool for Ontario homeowners considering energy-efficient home upgrades. The calculator provides estimates based on publicly available program information.

Estimates, not guarantees

All rebate amounts shown by our calculator are estimates. Heat pump per-ton rates and fixed-amount rebates (smart thermostat, windows per opening, air sealing) are based on published program rates. Variable amounts (insulation packages, solar, OHPA) are shown as ranges because exact amounts depend on factors determined during the application process.

ClaimRebate.ca does not guarantee any specific rebate amount. Final eligibility and rebate amounts are determined solely by the Home Renovation Savings Program administrators (Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy/IESO) and, for federal programs, by Natural Resources Canada.

Contractor connections

When you request to be connected with a contractor, we share your contact information with HRS-registered HVAC contractors in your area. We do not employ, endorse, or guarantee the work of any contractor. Any agreement between you and a contractor is solely between those parties.

Accuracy and updates

We make reasonable efforts to keep rebate information accurate and up to date. Program rules, amounts, and eligibility criteria may change at any time without notice. We recommend always verifying current program details at homerenovationsavings.ca before making financial decisions.

Limitation of liability

ClaimRebate.ca is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any financial decisions made based on information provided by our calculator. Users are responsible for verifying all information with official program sources before proceeding with any home upgrade project.
