Unlike Ontario which offers flat rates, BC's CleanBC program uses income tiers. Lower-income households get significantly higher rebates. The tiers are based on combined pre-tax household income and number of people in the home.

Critical: You MUST pre-register and receive your eligibility code BEFORE starting work or paying for equipment. Applying after installation = automatic disqualification. Also, only HPCN-registered contractors qualify — self-installation is not eligible.
