Insulation Areas Covered
The program covers insulation for all areas of your home: attic, exterior walls, basement walls, crawlspace, exposed floors, and cathedral ceilings. Your energy advisor will recommend which areas need the most improvement based on your pre-retrofit assessment.
Pro tip: Adding air sealing ($250 rebate) to your insulation project unlocks the bundled path AND makes your insulation 30-40% more effective. Most contractors recommend doing both together.
Eligibility
Own a detached, semi-detached, townhouse, row house, or mobile home in Ontario. Must be an Enbridge Gas customer or connected to the Ontario electricity grid. Home must be occupied for 6+ months. Condos and apartments are not eligible.
Bundled path warning: Do NOT start any work before the pre-retrofit energy assessment. Post-assessment must be completed within 180 days. Keep all invoices.
